Membership Basics

What is the Premier PR Card?

The Premier PR Card is an annual membership that unlocks discounted green fees (15%–25% off) and premium perks at every partner course on our network across Puerto Rico. It's delivered as a digital ID you carry in your phone's wallet — no plastic card, no app download required.

How much does membership cost?

An annual Premier PR membership is $299 USD. That covers 12 months of discounted access to all partner courses. At typical resort green fees, savings of $27–$45 per round mean most members recover the cost within a season of regular play.

Who can join?

Membership is open to anyone 18 or older with a valid government-issued ID and a payment method. You do not need to be a Puerto Rico resident — visitors and snowbirds are welcome, and the card is valid island-wide.

Is the membership transferable?

No. Your membership is tied to your identity and verified with a government ID at check-in. It cannot be lent, sold, or transferred to another person. This keeps rates low and prevents abuse.

Does membership include free rounds?

No. Premier PR is a discount program, not an unlimited-play pass. You still pay each course's discounted green fee when you play, and the member rate is applied automatically at check-in.

Billing & Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported at checkout.

Will my membership renew automatically?

Yes. Memberships renew annually on the same date you first joined. We'll email you a reminder 30 days before renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal any time from your account page.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe tokenizes the card and returns only a reference. All data is encrypted in transit over TLS.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Puerto Rico sales and use tax (IVU) is applied where required. Your order summary will display any applicable tax before you confirm payment.

Digital ID & Wallet

How do I use my digital card?

At the pro shop or starter desk, open your card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and present the QR code. The staff scans it, confirms your identity against your member photo or ID, and applies the Premier rate.

Do I need to download an app?

No app is required. Your card lives in the wallet that came pre-installed on your phone — Apple Wallet on iPhone, Google Wallet on Android.

What if I lose my phone?

Contact support and we'll invalidate the old QR code immediately. Once you have a replacement device, log in with your email and we'll reissue your card within minutes. Your membership stays active the whole time.

Can I use my card without cell service?

Yes. Once the pass is saved to your wallet, the QR code is stored locally on the device and works offline. Great news for rural courses with spotty reception.

Can I have the card on more than one device?

Yes — you can install your pass on a primary phone plus one backup device (e.g. an iPad or secondary phone you own). Only one person, the registered member, may use them.

Courses & Booking

Which courses are included?

All 15 partner courses on our network, from TPC Dorado Beach to Palmas del Mar to Coco Beach. The full directory is on our All Courses page with rates, hole counts, and location filters.

How do I book a tee time?

Book directly with each course — by phone, online, or through their preferred tee-sheet provider. Mention that you're a Premier PR member when booking so they apply the correct rate, then present your digital card at check-in.

Are there blackout dates?

A few. Most courses honor the member rate year-round, but individual partners may exclude certain holidays (Christmas week, Easter weekend) or tournament dates. The blackout list is noted on each course's detail entry in the directory.

Can I bring guests?

Most partner courses extend a reduced guest rate — typically 10% off — to up to three guests playing alongside you. The member must be present for the guest discount to apply.

What's the cancellation policy for a round?

Tee-time cancellation policies are set by each individual course, not by Premier PR. Most require 24-hour notice to avoid a no-show fee. Check at booking.

Discounts & Benefits

How much can I actually save?

Between 15% and 25% off the published green fee, depending on the course and tier. At a $180 resort rate, that's $27–$45 saved per round. Members who play weekly typically save well over $1,000 a year.

Does the discount stack with other promotions?

No. The Premier PR member rate cannot be combined with other coupons, twilight specials, hotel packages, or flash sales. You get the better of the two — whichever saves you more on that round.

Do benefits include anything besides green fees?

Select partners extend discounts on cart rental, range balls, pro-shop merchandise, and clubhouse dining. Those perks vary by location — the current list is kept on each course's detail page.

Account & Security

How do I update my contact info?

Sign in to your account page and edit your email, phone number, or billing address at any time. Changes take effect immediately.

What data do you collect?

Name, email, phone, government ID number (for identity binding), and billing details. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties beyond our payment processor (Stripe) and partner courses who need to verify your membership at check-in.

How do I request a copy of my data or delete my account?

Email privacy@premiergolfpr.com with your request. We'll confirm within 7 business days and fulfill it within 30 days, in line with applicable privacy laws.

Cancellation & Refunds

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, any time. Cancel auto-renewal from your account page or by email. Your membership stays active through the end of the paid period — you just won't be charged again.

Can I get a refund?

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee: if you haven't used your card at any partner course, request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After that window, or once the card has been used, memberships are non-refundable.

What happens if a partner course leaves the network?

Our network may change over the year as partner agreements renew. The member rate is honored at every course currently participating. If a course you specifically joined for leaves, contact support — we handle those on a case-by-case basis.

A course refused to honor my card. What do I do?

That's rare but we take it seriously. Pay the public rate, save your receipt, and email support the same day with the course name, date, and a photo of the receipt. We'll reimburse the difference and follow up with the partner directly.

I still have a question — can I talk to a human?

Absolutely. Call the support line during business hours and a real member of our Puerto Rico team will pick up. No bots, no phone tree longer than one level.
